Anime RNG Defense Traits and Passives

Traits and passives turn raw rarity into actual clears. Anime RNG Defense units carry inherent passives plus rollable traits that change damage type, uptime, or economy value. Ignoring them is why accounts stall on Innovation City and event maps even with “good” Epics.

Passives vs Traits

Passives are baked into the unit identity (AoE patterns, aura buffs, boss multipliers). Traits are modifiers you evaluate after each pull. Keep units whose passive solves a map problem; reroll traits that duplicate an existing role.

Priority Traits by Content

Early maps: wave clear and coin/income help. Boss maps: multi-hit and single-target amp. Raids: shield break and sustained DPS. Pair reading with the team comps guide.

Reroll Economy

Upgrade luck and Money Gain first (see luck upgrades). Only then spend trait shards or Kakashi-style rerolls on your primary carry. Document results so you do not reroll the same unit twice after a patch.

Codes, Boxes, and Trait Hunting

Use August 2026 codes and Epic Boxes to widen the pool, then filter keepers with the tier checker. Trait quality matters more once you enter event and raid maps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do traits matter more than rarity?
On mid and late maps, a mid-rarity unit with the right damage or utility trait often outperforms a high-rarity unit with a dead trait occupying the same role.
When should I reroll traits?
Reroll when a carry’s trait does not help your current wall (boss shields, long lanes, or AFK uptime). Spend premium reroll resources after luck upgrades, not before.
Where do Blessed or Divine rolls fit in?
Blessed Rolls from codes like EISENBERNCASTLE are premium pulls — use them on high luck with a clear role gap, not random curiosity pulls.
